Our team helped a language immersion school convert to hosting full-time classes completely online with a custom, flexible, virtual classroom setup. Users can easily access the daily schedule, assignments, playable videos, instructor communications, and launch live video meetings. School administrators easily manage and update all Classroom Portal content.
When the pandemic forced Jump Immersion School to close all of its physical locations in 2020, both parents and teachers had to quickly adapt. Like many schools, their staff began teaching virtually — but managing class schedules, assignments, video links, and communications soon became overwhelming.
In preparation for the following school year, we helped identify an opportunity to offer a fully online learning option. Our team designed and built a custom Classroom Portal to support both day school classes and after-school programs — giving parents, students, and teachers a simpler, more predictable experience. Each class period includes easy access to assignments, pre-recorded videos, and materials, along with direct links to the appropriate live video sessions.
We created a backend workflow that gives school administrators complete control over classroom content, while also automating several time-consuming tasks — saving hours each week and reducing manual effort.
Unlike off-the-shelf platforms, this custom-built solution is designed to evolve. Our team continues to make updates and add new features based on real-time feedback. This flexibility has also made it possible to expand the platform beyond traditional day school and after-school programs, supporting additional distance learning initiatives.
Now in use for multiple school years, the Classroom Portal remains a central tool in Jump Immersion School’s ability to adapt and grow in a hybrid learning environment.
